Portia Belloc Lowndes was one of the founding members of Slow Food Chicago and has been a board member of Chicago Green City Market since founding member Abby Mandel began the market over 11 years ago.  Currently, Ms Belloc Lowndes is the Executive Director for Heritage Prairie Market and Farm, a working farm and event venue in Geneva, Illinois.
