Brooke Havlik has served as an AmeriCorps volunteer for Share our Strength�s national
child hunger and nutrition program Operation Frontline since summer 2009. Her role includes providing classes in nutrition, cooking, and wellness for youth and adults in underserved communities across Chicago.
She recently received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and anthropology from DePaul University in Greencastle, Indiana. Brooke has a strong interest in improving public health and nutrition through the vehicle of healthy food. Following her AmeriCorps service she plans to travel and to attend graduate school in anthropology.
