Amber and Arielle Thomas are lifelong members of God�s Gang. They have one brother and three sisters. Their father, Marcus, founded God's Gang at eight years old, with a belief that all children are alike, they just need to recognize each others sameness, beyond their differences.
Amber Thomas is eighteen, and a Senior at Morgan Park High School. She is studying the Foundation of Nursing, for her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, on her way to becoming a R.N. She serves as Shadow to the Director of God's Gang,
She is a Docent for God's Gang exhibits, and farm tours. A lifetime member of God's Gang, Amber has traveled to meet with teens in Maine, Wisconsin and California where she helped install a Talapia system for the Sacramento God's Gang. She has been an apprentice, and intern in the City of Chicago, After School Matters program. Amber has been a vendor at Farmer's Markets in the city and suburbs: Sequin Market, Seaway Bank, McKinley Park, and Country Club Hills markets
Arielle Thomas attends Thornton Fractional South High School in Lansing IL. She worked two seasons at God�s Gang�s Garfield Park Farmers Market, and she was one of the first vendors at the still developing Roseland farmers market. Arielle has been to Arkansas twice, once for training at the Heifer Project Global Village, and the second time she accompanied our Board President, to meet with other U.S. teens joining together working on hunger issues. In 2008 and 2009, Arielle hosted the 50 member Memphis� Eastwind Christian church work group at our farm in Hidden Haven MI. Arielle is also a volunteer member of the Red Cross Team Firestarter demonstration teams in Roseland an Englewood.
